Forever and a day

I know many people wondered if we were ever going to get an update on our blog. I am finally doing it. This summer has been so busy for us just like it has been for many others. To make it easier hear is a list of fun, new and exciting things going on in the Meade Family.

• Most exciting!! We are expecting baby #3 and EDD is January 17. We will let you know if we decide to find out the sex of the baby. Everything is going well and 2nd trimester has just begun.


• Laura recently got a part-time job at our church as the Children's Ministry Coordinator (coordinating VBS, Sunday School, Christmas plays etc). Laura is a member of our local MOMS Club group and was recently voted in on the executive board as the Membership VP. And still the wedding coordinator at our church. Busy, busy, busy!!


• Still working on getting our house renovated. The logs have been replaced and now we just have to stain and paint.


• Andy graduated from seminary and was ordained is now officially Pastor Andy Kilps. We are all very proud of him. Andy, Karen and Isabella arrived in NJ today and Andy starts his first day as a pastor for that church on Sunday. We had some time over the summer to visit at Mom and Dad's with them and also Tom. We had a great time. Always too short of a visit but well worth it


• Tim is about to wrap up the softball season and his team made the playoffs. He is a very good asset to the team. Tim is still with Champlin and keeping busy. When he has some extra time, ebay is still a hobby along with tackling projects around the house. For a few months now, Tim has taken on a position at church on the Pastor Parish Community board.


• Jacob is enjoying the summer with friends and cousins. This week he is in Vacation Bible School for his first year and loving it. For our MOMS Club, we were in a parade that he rode is bike the entire way. He was a tired boy by the end. Very active and loves to go swimming.


• Tyler, or as we call him, our little Tyler man, is still protesting crawling. He rather prefers to scootch along on his butt. It is very cute and he is pretty fast. He is pulling himself up and starting to try walking along furniture.
