Our little guy finally came!!

Laura started going into intense labor around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. We had Tim's sister Vickie come over for the evening to be with Jacob. Laura, Tim and Laura's Mom arrived at the hospital at 11:15 p.m. Laura's Mom decided to come up Tuesday to help out with entertaining Jacob and helping Laura while Tim was at work. Labor was a little bit of a challenge. Tyler was not being the most cooperative, so Laura was pushing for 1 1/2 hours. Tired was an understatement. Tim was the best cheerleader, and a very excited Daddy to be. Chris was present for Tyler's birth and was our photographer. We were happy to have her be apart of such a special part in our lives.

Later on Friday, Tim, Chris, Vickie and Jacob all came to the hospital for a visit. Jacob really didn't know what to think of everything. When Tyler would start to cry, Jacob went to the other side of the room. He had more fun playing with the balloons were given. When we arrived home, Jacob was excited to see his new baby brother. He gave him kisses and would ask every other minute, "What's Tyler doing?" Tim's parent's came to visit that day as well. Boy were they happy Grandparent's.

Through these past couple day, Vickie and Chris have been our lifesavers. We don't know what we would have done without the two of them.

This is a joyous time in all of our lives, but for the Meade family it is a true gift. For Tim's family, having lost two boys, Patrick and Richard, it has been a hard loss over these years. God has now blessed our family with two more boys to bring joy and happiness. We know that Patrick and Richard are smiling down on us now and always.
