Meade Family of 5

Welcome to our family blog website! We are excited to share our pictures and adventures with our family and friends. Tim and Laura were married on August 23, 2002. God has blessed our family with 3 wonderful little boys - Jacob Allen was born November 15, 2003, Tyler Patrick was born May 5, 2006 and Charles Curtis born January 13, 2008. We hope you will enjoy keeping up on our exciting yet busy lives as much as we do.

Family Days

The boys sure do keep me on my toes. I love every moment of being a Mom. Of course times get a bit crazy and stressful, but when they smile it makes it all worth it. Tyler has been going through a lot of changes. He weighs 16 lbs (50%) and is 28" long (97%). He is our big boy. He is wearing 9-12 month clothes. Getting more into the 12 month because he is so long. We are now needing to get him into another car seat because he is now at the limit. He loves his cereal and has had some new foods; squash, sweet potatoes, peas (doesn't like), green beans and pears. And of course his all favorite - prunes. Good thing he likes them because he has been getting them quite a bit. Our poor little man still has a big tummy and gas problem. Many times when he has gas he crys. It breaks my heart when my kids hurt and I can't help them. His doctor said that things should be better when he gets on solid foods to get his digestive system moving along better. Now he is a bit constipated. Again, more prunes and prune juice. I'm crossing my fingers that things will be better for him soon. Tyler is still not sleeping through the night. I am up with him about 2-3 times. Most of the time it's because he is uncomfortable. About a week ago we discovered that he has teeth coming in. His two bottom teeth came in at the same time. He has not been to thrilled about that. With Jacob we always had to check because he didn't show many signs or side effects to teething. Other than that Tyler is a happy good baby. He loves it when Jacob makes him laugh and he thinks it's so funny to pull Jacob's hair. He is very much a mommy's boy. He is not too fond of going to anyone else. We are working on that too. Jacob goes to daycare on Mon and Wed for 4 hours. We thought it would be a good idea for him to play more with other kids, and it also gives me some time to be with Tyler and get some work done at home. He loves it and has been learning quite a bit. He is there with all girls except for a baby boy Tyler's age. He thinks the girls are pretty silly as he says.

Mommy cut my hair - again. Making a mess of my squash. As Papa says, "there is more on the Tyler than in the Tyler."
This is one of Tyler's happy moments - riding in his stroller (Hard to tell in the picture, but his eyes are blue)
We took a family day last Tuesday and went to the Mall of America. We went on some of the rides in Camp Snoopy and ate out. We spent time in Lego Land as well. Jacob had a blast at the mall. Didn't do any shopping. The mall is just too big. That alone was enough to keep us busy.

Tummy time for Tyler and Jacob likes to join in. He's doesn't like being on his tummy much but getting better each day. We are working on him sitting up too.

We had some fun making our own scarecrow man. We used some of Tim's old clothes. Tim said it looked just like him just without a head. He does have a head now. Jacob would go sit on his lap and say hi to him. He thought it was pretty funny.
We didn't make this one. The scarecrow women need a hug

WOW!! I do exist. I actually am in a picture. It is very challenging to get both boys to look at the camera.

Nice lawn decorations! When I scrolled down and saw the scarecrow on the ground I totally thought it was Tim at first, then I noticed how his head was gone. It's true, it does look a lot like Tim.
